Suicide Bomber Attacks Police Van in Charsadda

On Thursday morning, a suicide bomber detonated explosives near a police mobile van in Charsadda, but both the police personnel and the vehicle were unharmed.

The bomber, riding a motorcycle, targeted the police vehicle on patrol along Harichand Road near Akhun Dheri in the Umarzai police station area.

Fortunately, no one was injured as there was no traffic at the time of the explosion. The bomber blew himself up upon seeing the van, but the blast’s impact did not reach the vehicle.

The explosion was heard across the area, and a heavy police force quickly arrived at the scene, cordoning off the area and beginning a search for suspects.

The police recovered the bomber’s body and motorcycle and initiated an investigation.
