It has been uncovered that terrorists in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa are using the video game PUBG for coordinating their activities. Previously, such groups relied on Telegram for communication, but in Swat, terrorists are now utilizing PUBG’s chat groups to share information and plan operations.

According to DPO Swat Dr. Zahid, this is the first instance of terrorists using PUBG for these purposes. The game’s unmonitored chat feature allows terrorists to operate covertly.

Weapons, ammunition, and mobile phones, including devices with PUBG installed, were recovered, providing key evidence from the chat history.

Dr. Zahid assured that the Swat Police are ready to address any challenges and are committed to maintaining peace in Swat. The suspects behind the Banr police post attack have been apprehended, and further information from them will aid in preventing future threats.

He emphasized the protection of public safety and property in his statement to the media at his office in Gul Kada.
