A female constable of the Sindh police was discovered dead in her room in Mirpur Khas, according to reports released on Friday.
Initial investigations suggest that she was murdered, and a fellow police officer has been detained for questioning.

Authorities have gathered CCTV footage and other evidence to aid the inquiry. It was revealed that the deceased had previously filed a harassment complaint against the suspect in 2023.
This incident follows a similar case in Lahore last year, where Constable Farooq was arrested for the murder of Lady Constable Soman.
Farooq, stationed in the police operations department, confessed to the crime, citing his unrequited love for Soman, who had chosen to marry someone else instead of him.
