Pakistan Denies Allegations of Providing Shaheen Missiles to Iran

Pakistan’s Foreign Office has firmly denied reports suggesting that Islamabad is preparing to supply Shaheen ballistic missiles to Iran. FO spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch emphasized that these claims are baseless.

During a briefing, Baloch outlined Pakistan’s active engagement in regional and international affairs. She highlighted Pakistan’s representation at an extraordinary OIC meeting on Palestine, where the Deputy Prime Minister stressed the need for continuous humanitarian aid.

Baloch also addressed Pakistan’s support for Kashmiris and condemned anti-Pakistan propaganda from Indian media, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to resolving the Kashmir issue per UN Security Council resolutions. She also mentioned ongoing diplomatic efforts with the US and positive relations with Bangladesh, and congratulated Arshad Nadeem on his Olympic gold medal.
