Pakistan has strongly condemned recent statements by Indian leaders in Bihar, calling them indicative of a troubling mindset that favors hostility over peace. Foreign Office Spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan rejected attempts to blame Pakistan for regional instability, emphasizing India’s documented record of aggression and support for terrorism within Pakistan.
Addressing media queries, Khan reaffirmed that the Jammu and Kashmir dispute remains the core issue threatening regional peace and stability. He stressed Pakistan’s commitment to a just resolution based on UN Security Council resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.

The spokesperson warned that ignoring this fundamental conflict would only lead to continued mistrust and potential confrontation in South Asia. He criticized India’s use of jingoism and coercion, stating these tactics will not achieve lasting objectives.
While reaffirming Pakistan’s dedication to peace and constructive engagement, Khan also vowed to defend the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He urged maturity, restraint, and addressing root causes as essential for durable peace in the region.
