Male β Pakistan Navy Ship (PNS) SAIF visited the Port of Male as part of its ongoing overseas deployment, where it received a warm welcome from Maldivian authorities upon arrival.
During the visit, the Mission Commander held meetings with the military leadership of Maldives and also called on officials at the High Commission of Pakistan. The discussions focused on mutual interests, naval cooperation, and enhancing maritime security collaboration between the two nations.
Throughout the shipβs stay, government officials, ambassadors, and members of the diplomatic community toured PNS SAIF, reflecting the deepening diplomatic and defense engagement between Pakistan and Maldives.
Following the port call, PNS SAIF conducted a Passage Exercise (PASSEX) with the Maldives Coast Guard, aimed at improving coordination and interoperability at sea.
Regular visits by Pakistan Navy ships to the Maldives underscore the strong bilateral ties and reaffirm Pakistan Navyβs commitment to regional maritime stability and collaborative security efforts.
