In a bid to tackle the worsening smog crisis, the Punjab government has announced plans to initiate an artificial rain project in Rawalpindi. This trial project, aimed at reducing airborne pollutants, will proceed if cloud conditions prove suitable.

Provincial officials confirmed that specialized teams from environmental and government agencies have been stationed in Rawalpindi to oversee the project’s execution.
