The Punjab Government is preparing to launch a personalized number plate system for vehicles, pending approval from Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. This initiative, announced by Director General Excise Faisal Fareed, will enable vehicle owners to customize their number plates across three distinct categories.
In the Corporate category, companies will have the opportunity to display their names on their vehicle plates. The Platinum category allows individuals to feature their names or those of loved ones, while the Gold category offers the flexibility to include a combination of three preferred letters and three digits. This personalization aims to enhance the vehicle registration experience and provide a unique identity to each vehicle.

Director General Faisal Fareed emphasized that any content promoting religious, political, or social hatred will be strictly prohibited on the personalized plates, ensuring that the initiative remains respectful and inclusive.
