Senior Meteorologist Zahid Hussain confirmed that the rain would continue throughout the week, providing relief from the heat but also posing potential logistical challenges. On Monday morning, light drizzle was observed in Lahore, with temperatures expected to range from 28 to 34 degrees Celsius.
In Abbottabad, intermittent rain and strong winds have made the weather pleasant, though the district administration has warned of possible flooding in canals and advised residents to avoid urban drains and landslide-prone areas.
Heavy rainfall in Gujrat and Attock has also led to more pleasant weather, and in Islamabad, the rain has made the heat more bearable. Continuous rain in Azad Jammu and Kashmir has increased water levels in rivers and canals, creating pleasant conditions in Muzaffarabad and nearby areas.
Residents in affected regions are advised to stay informed about weather updates and take necessary precautions as authorities work to manage the impact of the heavy rainfall.
