Extra railway police personnel are now stationed at key facilities, and Special Police (SP) units have reinforced surveillance at entry and exit points. Bomb Disposal Squads (BDS) are also active at major hubs, inspecting areas before each train’s departure.

Passengers and their belongings will undergo thorough screening upon entry, with additional walk-through gates installed to aid monitoring. Increased security presence includes vehicle inspections, with additional female officers ensuring safety.

IG Khan urged passengers to remain vigilant and cooperate with Railway Police efforts, affirming, “Efforts are underway to make railway stations, trains, and facilities foolproof in terms of security.”
