Rain and Snowfall Forecasted in Upper Pakistan this Weekend

The weather is expected to take a turn towards chilly conditions in some parts of Pakistan, with the possibility of rain over the weekend.

Regions including upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Potohar region, Islamabad, northeast Punjab, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan are likely to experience rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms. Additionally, there is a chance of snowfall in the mountains, which would lead to a drop in temperatures.

In contrast, coastal areas of Pakistan, including Karachi, can anticipate partly cloudy and humid weather conditions. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), most parts of the country are expected to remain dry over the next 24 hours.

Turbat recorded the hottest temperature in the country recently, with temperatures soaring to 44Β°C.
