In Hafizabad district, Punjab, a woman was gang-raped by robbers in front of her husband and daughter. The incident occurred when the family, traveling to Chiniot by motorcycle, was stopped by three robbers near Sukheke. The attackers then took the woman to nearby fields and assaulted her at gunpoint while her family was forced to watch.
Despite being informed, local police initially engaged in jurisdictional disputes instead of arresting the suspects. The delay in action led to significant criticism of the handling of the case.

DPO Faisalabad Faisal Gulzar eventually intervened, leading to the suspension of Sukheke police station SHO Luqman Chatha. A case has been registered against the robbers at Sukheke police station following a complaint by the victim’s husband.
