Security Forces Eliminate 27 Militants, Rescue 150 Hostages in Balochistan Train Attack

Security forces killed 27 militants and rescued over 150 hostages in a clearance operation following a terrorist attack on the Jaffar Express in Balochistan’s Bolan district. The attack, which occurred on Tuesday, involved heavily armed militants who stormed the Peshawar-bound train, which was carrying over 400 passengers. The attackers, affiliated with the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), bombed the railway track before opening fire on the train.

The assault, which took place in the remote Dhadar area, led to the tragic death of the train driver and several passengers. Security forces swiftly launched a rescue operation, neutralizing the militants and securing the area. The attackers were reportedly in contact with their mastermind in Afghanistan, according to security sources.

Train services across the region were temporarily halted due to security concerns, and a help desk was set up for passengers and their families. The incident raised concerns over the safety of railway routes passing through remote regions of the country. Railway authorities are working to ensure future security measures are in place to prevent further attacks.

Meanwhile, authorities condemned the role of Indian media and anti-national social media platforms in spreading misleading information and propaganda following the attack. The public has been urged to rely on credible sources and avoid falling for fake news and inflammatory posts circulating online.
