Mild earthquake tremors shook Khuzdar district and surrounding areas in Balochistan, prompting residents to rush out of their homes in alarm. The National Seismic Monitoring Centre reported that the earthquake measured 3.7 on the Richter scale, with its epicentre located 50 kilometres southeast of Khuzdar and a depth of 20 kilometres below the surface.

While no casualties or property damage were reported, the tremors sparked anxiety, with locals describing the rattling of doors and windows during the brief quake.
