A viral video on social media shows Rana Sanaullah, the Prime Minister’s Adviser on Political and Public Affairs, enjoying a boat ride in Paris with his wife. The footage was shared on TikTok during Sanaullah’s trip to attend the 11th Commonwealth Sports Ministers Conference and the Paris Olympics.
The video attracted criticism from political opponents, who accused the PML-N leader of using taxpayer funds for personal enjoyment while attending official events. They claimed he was taking a “family vacation” in Paris instead of focusing on his duties.

Sanaullah, who is also the Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination, visited Paris last month for official purposes. He attended the opening ceremony of the international sports event and represented Pakistan at the Commonwealth Sports Ministers’ Meeting and the “Change The Game” Ministerial Forum at UNESCO.
