Pakistani Fans at Perth Test Offered Alcohol-Free Zone, Halal Food Choices

Cricket Australia (CA) has introduced the ‘Pakistan Bay’ at Perth Stadium in anticipation of the upcoming inaugural test match between Pakistan and Australia. This exclusive section is specifically designed to cater to fervent Pakistani cricket fans.

Located within one of the stands at Perth Stadium, the ‘Pakistan Bay’ offers an alcohol-free zone along with a diverse array of traditional Pakistani cuisine and tea, aiming to provide a welcoming space for Pakistani supporters during the matches.

Enthusiastic fans of Pakistani cricket now have the opportunity to revel in the “Pakistan Bay” at Perth Stadium, with Section 109, Row 2 exclusively allocated for team supporters. Tickets for this specialized zone are priced at $30 each, allowing Pakistani fans to passionately rally behind their team during the matches.

Prior to the challenging test series against Australia, the Pakistan team engaged in a four-day warm-up match against the Australian Prime Minister’s XI at Manuka Oval in Canberra. Despite persistent heavy rainfall leading to a draw, the match served as valuable preparation for the upcoming series.

Notably, Pakistan’s newly appointed captain, Shan Masood, showcased exceptional skill during the warm-up match, achieving an incredible double-century with an unbeaten 201 runs, earning him the Player of the Match accolade.

As the highly anticipated test series against Australia is set to kick off on December 14th in Perth, Shan Masood and his team have undergone rigorous preparation against the Prime Minister’s XI.
