PTI-backed candidates Shoaib Shaheen and Ali Bukhari have filed petitions in the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Saturday, challenging the results of constituencies NA-47 and NA-48 respectively.
Shoaib Shaheen, speaking to the media outside the IHC, emphasized the urgency of the case and urged the chief justice to expedite the process. He asserted that he had won the election for NA-47 with a significant majority and blamed the returning officers for succumbing to pressure from higher authorities.

Similarly, Ali Bukhari, contesting from NA-48, claimed that initial results showed him as the winner but later he was announced as the runner-up candidate. He expressed dissatisfaction with the electoral process and accused the authorities of unfair practices.
Both candidates highlighted concerns about injustice and oppression against the PTI and alleged tampering with the election results. They vowed to challenge the outcomes through political and legal avenues, emphasizing their commitment to upholding democratic principles and ensuring the rights of the people.
