In Lahore, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced plans to stage nationwide public rallies, with a particular focus on Punjab, leading up to the forthcoming by-elections scheduled for April 21. PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan confirmed the party’s intentions to hold these rallies during a press conference outside Adiala Jail, accompanied by party leader Sher Afzal Marwat and other officials. He clarified that a scheduled meeting with the party’s founder was in accordance with court directives granting permission for the meeting.
