Sindh has exceeded its revenue collection target of Rs. 180 billion for fiscal year 2022-23.

Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) achieved a significant milestone by exceeding its revenue collection target for FY 2022-23, the second consecutive FY in which SRB outperformed its revenue target, with an unprecedented monthly revenue collection of Rs. 24 billion in June 2023, the highest-ever monthly revenue collection since SRB began revenue collection 13 years ago.

This is a 21% increase above the Rs 153.5 billion collected in 2021-22.

During the fiscal year 2022-23, SRB accomplished a great feat by collecting revenue of Rs 185.3 billion, exceeding the given revenue target of Rs 180 billion by Rs. 5.3 billion.

It is worth noting that SRB performed admirably despite difficulties such as the ongoing negative impact of severe floods in Sindh, an economic downturn, and no additional revenues due to Sindh tax-free budgets.

The company’s milestone achievements demonstrate its employees’ unwavering passion and tenacity.

The SRB team thanks the taxpayers for their faith and collaboration, as well as the Government of Sindh for their ongoing support. SRB’s mission of “generating revenue for the people” remains unchanged.
