Babar reached the milestone during a T20 match against South Africa, achieving it with his 11th run of the innings. This makes him the first cricketer to cross 11,000 T20 runs in under 300 innings.
The prolific batter already holds multiple T20 records, including being the fastest to 7,000, 9,000, 10,000, and now 11,000 runs. He has consistently proven himself as one of the most reliable and celebrated players in the format.
Babar is now the second Pakistani and the 11th cricketer overall to cross the 11,000-run milestone in T20 cricket, joining legends like Chris Gayle, Shoaib Malik, Kieron Pollard, Alex Hales, Virat Kohli, and Jos Buttler.
In addition, the former Pakistan skipper recently surpassed 14,000 international runs, becoming the fifth Pakistani batter to reach this impressive milestone.
