Spain secured their place in the Euro Cup 2024 final by defeating France 2-1 in a semi-final match held in Munich on Wednesday.
France initially took the lead in the eighth minute with a goal from Randal Kolo. However, Spain quickly equalized in the 21st minute with a remarkable goal by 16-year-old Lamine Yamal, making him the youngest scorer in Euro Cup history. The previous record was held by Swiss player Johan Vonlanthen, who scored at the age of 18 in the 2004 Euro Cup.

Just four minutes later, in the 25th minute, Dani Olmo scored another impressive goal for Spain, giving them a 2-1 lead that they maintained until the final whistle.
Spain’s victory means they await the winner of the semi-final between England and the Netherlands to determine their opponent in the final.
