The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has pledged full support to fast bowler Hasan Ali for his recovery from a recent elbow injury. The PCB has confirmed that Hasan Ali’s treatment, including surgery in England, will be entirely covered by the board. The surgery is expected to take place in late August, and Hasan Ali is scheduled to depart for England around August 25 or 26.
The injury, which occurred during his participation in the county cricket season, will keep him out of the sport for an estimated three to four months following the surgery. The PCB anticipates his return to cricket by December, pending the completion of a rehabilitation program.

In addition to his injury concerns, Hasan Ali has expressed unease regarding proposed changes within the team, as mentioned by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi. He questioned the practicality of replacing all 11 players, highlighting the team’s lack of sufficient backups for such a drastic move.
Hasan emphasized the importance of making decisions that benefit Pakistani cricket, calling for strong leadership and firm decision-making from the chairman. He also stressed the need to strengthen Pakistan’s bench strength, noting that other countries maintain multiple squads for international tours, a practice Pakistan currently lacks.
