The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) released a statement stating that spinner Noman Ali of Pakistan will not be playing in the Test series against Australia because of severe appendicitis.
According to the report, Noman Ali reported experiencing abrupt and intense stomach pain yesterday. As a result, he underwent emergency exams and scans, which verified the diagnosis of acute appendicitis.

The PCB reported that he had a laparoscopic appendectomy this morning on the surgeon’s recommendation.
Following surgery, the cricket player is stable and doing well. He is scheduled to be released later this afternoon.
After Khurram Shehzad, Noman Ali is the second bowler from Pakistan to be excluded from the Test series in Australia due to fitness.
Pakistan will play the second Test in Melbourne from Dec 26 after losing the opening game of the three-match series.
