Pakistani Volleyball Player Azra Farooq Earns MVP Title at Maldives Kings Cup

Azra Farooq from Pakistan has been named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) at the Kings Cup Volleyball tournament in the Maldives. Playing for MK Club, Azra’s standout performance helped her team win all four matches, and she was named the best player in each game, leading them to the tournament title.

Azra earned six trophies, including four Player of the Match awards, one MVP award, and one Top 6 Player award. Her achievements reflect both her personal success and the rising prominence of Pakistani women athletes internationally.

This is Azra’s second stint with a Maldivian club; she and Muqaddas Bukhari previously made history as the first Pakistani women to join a volleyball club outside Pakistan when they signed with Al-Fawz Club for the MZC Ladies’ Cup.
