The PCB maintains that its “master security plan,” shared with ICC members, leaves no legal or ethical grounds for India’s objection. Meanwhile, the Champions Trophy Trophy Tour has launched in Islamabad, showcasing the nation’s readiness to host the event.

The tour will visit cities across Pakistan, with cricket legend Shoaib Akhtar joining fans in celebrating the event. ICC’s Anurag Dahiya lauded the initiative, calling it a chance to bring the iconic trophy closer to cricket enthusiasts globally.
