Shadab Khan stressed the importance of self-reflection and improvement, noting that cricket teaches the constant need for enhancement. He conveyed plans to return to Pakistan to analyze his mistakes in the mega cricket event, acknowledging the team’s errors and weaknesses that led to their elimination. Shadab highlighted the underperformance of bowlers as a critical factor and emphasized the necessity to align batting strategies with modern-day cricket.

Following Pakistan’s disappointing performance in the World Cup, the team will depart from India in two groups. The first group of 11 members is scheduled to leave Kolkata on an Emirates flight, with the remaining members departing later on the same day. The team’s journey in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup came to an end after a 93-run defeat to England in their last group match at Kolkata’s Edens Gardens.
