Elon Musk has dismissed reports suggesting he is considering buying TikTok, stating he has no plans to acquire the platform. Speaking at the WELT Economic Summit, he said, “I don’t have any plans for what I would do if I had TikTok,” adding that his main concern would be assessing its algorithm.

Reports had claimed that Chinese officials informally discussed selling TikTok to Musk to prevent a US ban, but both TikTok and Musk denied these claims.
With ByteDance facing an April deadline to divest or risk a ban, other investors, including Kevin O’Leary and MrBeast, have expressed interest in a potential purchase.
