Trump’s reappearance on X follows the reinstatement of his account, which had been permanently suspended after the Capitol Hill attack on January 6, 2021. Although the account was restored under Musk’s management, Trump had primarily been using his own platform, Truth Social. It was only recently, in August 2023, that he resumed posting on X.
