48 Pakistani Universities Featured in THE Young University Rankings 2023, with 21 Among Top 500

The recently published Times Higher Education (THE) Young University Rankings 2023 have recognized a remarkable achievement for Pakistani higher education. A total of 48 Pakistani universities have been featured in the rankings, with 22 institutes receiving official rankings and the remaining 26 being designated as ‘reporters.’ Out of the 22 ranked universities, an impressive 21 have secured positions within the top 500 universities worldwide.

The prestigious University of Management and Technology (UMT) claims the top spot among Pakistani universities on the list. Following closely behind are Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan and COMSATS University Islamabad, showcasing their dedication to academic excellence and research contributions.
