Karachi police reported a tragic accident in which a food delivery rider crushed under a trailer near Karimabad Bridge. The victim, identified as 27-year-old Shabbir, died on the spot after his motorcycle collided with the heavy vehicle.
Rescue authorities rushed to the scene, but Shabbir could not be saved. Police have taken the trailer driver into custody and impounded the vehicle. Legal proceedings are now underway, and the body has been handed over to the family after completing formalities.

SSP Gulberg confirmed that heavy contingents of police and Rangers were deployed at the scene of the Karimabad Bridge accident to maintain order. The authorities emphasized that the trailer driver responsible for the collision would face legal action under existing traffic laws.
Authorities urged drivers of heavy vehicles to follow traffic regulations and exercise caution, particularly near busy city areas. With the food delivery rider crushed incident highlighting growing safety concerns, officials promised to take steps to monitor heavy vehicles more effectively.
