The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has approved a new e-transfer policy for teachers across the province. Officials say this move aims to make teacher transfers more transparent, efficient, and merit-based.
Under the policy, teachers will be able to submit transfer requests online, reducing paperwork and bureaucratic delays. Authorities emphasized that the system will ensure fairness and prevent favoritism in transfer decisions. The new measure also allows teachers to track the status of their requests in real time.
KP Education Minister stated that the e-transfer system is part of broader reforms to modernize the education sector. The move is expected to improve administrative efficiency while addressing teachersโ concerns regarding transfers and postings.
School administrators will also benefit, as the system provides a centralized platform for managing teacher placements, avoiding manual errors, and maintaining accurate records. Officials highlighted that the policy will help balance staffing needs across rural and urban areas.
The KP government has urged teachers to familiarize themselves with the online platform and follow the prescribed procedures. Training sessions and guidance materials will be provided to ensure a smooth transition from the old system.
Education experts have welcomed the initiative, noting that digitization of transfer processes can reduce corruption, enhance transparency, and save time for both teachers and administrative staff.
This step reflects the KP governmentโs commitment to reforming education administration. By approving the KP Approves E-Transfer Policy for Teachers, authorities aim to create a fairer, more accountable, and efficient system for managing teacher transfers across the province.
