LOS ANGELES โ Kendall Jenner has addressed persistent online rumors about her sexual orientation, calling much of the speculation hurtful and unwarranted. The 30-year-old model spoke candidly on the Jan. 9 episode of the In Your Dreams podcast with host Owen Thiele.
During the interview, Kendall Jenner acknowledged that many internet users assume she is a lesbian. She expressed frustration at the aggressive tone of some commentary, saying it often crosses the line from curiosity to cruelty.
โThereโs a whole side of the internet that thinks Iโm a lesbian,โ Jenner said. โWhat really bothers me is how mean people are about it. Itโs not welcoming. Itโs not kind. Itโs very aggressive.โ
She clarified that she does not identify as gay but emphasized that she would not feel pressured to hide her truth if she did. โKnowing myself, I think at this point in my life Iโd be out if I was,โ Kendall Jenner added. โThat doesnโt mean coming out is easy. It isnโt, but I know how Iโd want to live my life.โ
Rejecting the narrative that openness about her sexuality could hurt her career, Jenner said, โI donโt understand that narrative at all. As of today, I am not. I donโt think I will be, but Iโm not closing doors to experiences in life.โ
Over the years, Kendall Jenner has been linked to high-profile figures, including Harry Styles, NBA star Devin Booker, and rapper Bad Bunny, whom she reportedly split from in late 2023. Despite these public associations, she maintains that her dating life is private.
โFor me, relationships are sacred,โ Jenner explained. โMaking them public just makes everything messier.โ
Kendall Jennerโs remarks highlight her commitment to honesty while maintaining personal boundaries. She encourages empathy online, pushing back against aggressive speculation and the pressure to conform to public expectations.
