The Pakistan Ulema Council expressed deep grief over the killing. Chairman Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi condemned the incident, describing it as an attack on peace, religion, and humanity. He highlighted that terrorists are indiscriminately targeting Pakistani citizens, including scholars and their families, to spread fear and destabilize the country.
Local community members and religious leaders urged unity against extremism. They stressed that such violent acts would not weaken Pakistan’s resolve against terrorism. Many called for stronger measures to protect religious figures and civilians in conflict-prone areas.
