ISLAMABAD – Abdullah Khan Niazi, who has been receiving acclaim for his role as Usman in the hit ARY Digital drama ‘Kafeel’, recently shared his struggles and perseverance in the acting industry.
During a heartfelt appearance on Good Morning Pakistan, Abdullah Khan Niazi revealed stories of rejection, financial challenges, and long journeys in pursuit of acting opportunities. He described how he traveled extensively during the lockdown and Eid holidays for a potential role.
“They asked me to reach quickly for shooting after Eid. I traveled to Multan by local bus, then took a lift to Hyderabad, arriving at midnight,” Abdullah Khan Niazi recalled. Despite his efforts, he said the production had already cast another actor. “I was told, ‘It wasn’t a suitable role for you. I will give you some other work.’ I hadn’t eaten in 36 hours, so I just had something to eat,” he added.
Abdullah Khan Niazi further explained that for nearly a year and a half, he visited multiple channels and production houses without landing a role. His persistence finally paid off when Big Bang Production offered him an opportunity that helped kickstart his career.
Now, his role in ‘Kafeel’ has earned him praise from critics and audiences alike. The drama highlights his talent and commitment to the craft, proving that determination and patience are key in the entertainment industry.
Speaking about his journey, Abdullah emphasized the importance of resilience. He encouraged aspiring actors to remain steadfast despite challenges. “Acting is not easy. You face rejections, but persistence brings success,” he said.
