The company said these steps aim to help families use the internet safely. This includes students, parents, and teachers. The focus is on responsible use of artificial intelligence.

Farhan Qureshi, Cluster Director at Google, said local partnerships are important. He said working with Pakistani groups will help build a safer digital space.

The company explained that children are protected through built-in features. SafeSearch is enabled by default for younger users. This blocks harmful or inappropriate results.

Parents can also use Family Link. This tool allows screen time control. It also helps manage apps and content access.

Google also shared how AI is used to detect threats. Tools like Google Lens and Circle to Search help spot fake links. These tools warn users about possible scams.

The company highlighted the importance of checking online information. It suggested the SIFT method. This stands for Stop, Investigate, Find better sources, and Trace claims.

Google Search also offers an โ€œAbout this imageโ€ feature. This helps users verify pictures. It can detect deepfakes or altered images.

For families, YouTube now offers stronger controls. Parents can limit Shorts usage. They can also switch between age-based profiles.

On Android, School Time settings help reduce distractions. This supports better focus during study hours.

Google is also investing in digital education. The Gemini app supports students with AI tools. It helps with research and creative tasks.

Programs like Experience AI and Be Internet Awesome teach online responsibility. These programs explain how to spot false content. They also promote ethical technology use.

Norman Ng, Head of Trust and Safety at Google APAC, said AI must include safeguards. He said families should understand both risks and benefits.

The company believes safe access can unlock learning opportunities. With the right tools, users can stay protected.
