Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held an important phone call with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Wednesday. During the conversation, both leaders discussed the current regional situation and stressed the need for peace and stability.

He praised the Kingdomโs leadership for showing restraint in a difficult situation. The Saudi Crown Prince thanked Shehbaz for Pakistanโs diplomatic role in promoting de-escalation. He acknowledged Pakistanโs efforts to encourage peaceful dialogue and reduce tensions in the region. Both sides agreed that dialogue is the best way to resolve conflicts.
During the call, Shehbaz highlighted Pakistanโs consistent stance on peace. He said that long-term stability can only be achieved through talks and cooperation. He also emphasized the importance of unity among Muslim countries, especially during challenging times.

The Prime Minister also extended warm Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to the Crown Prince and the people of Saudi Arabia. The Crown Prince returned the greetings and expressed goodwill towards Pakistan.
