Air operations disrupted by the ongoing Middle East conflict have gradually resumed, including Doha flights to and from Pakistan. After a 25-day suspension, flights arriving from Doha are now landing in Karachi and Lahore. However, outbound flights are not departing immediately and await security clearance.
According to airport sources, flights from other Middle Eastern cities, including Fujairah, Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Dubai, have already resumed. Doha flights are currently operating with higher passenger loads inbound, while outbound flights have less than 50% occupancy.
A total of 18 flights from various Middle Eastern cities have arrived in Pakistan since operations resumed. Security checks continue to ensure passenger safety, and the volume of flights is expected to increase as clearances are issued.
Airport officials stated that all facilities for aircraft landing and takeoff are available at Pakistanโs international airports. Airlines have been provided with emergency parking facilities, and support services are fully operational for flights from Doha and other Middle Eastern destinations.
The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) maintains continuous communication with both domestic and international airlines. Daily briefings are conducted in the morning, evening, and occasionally late at night to monitor the evolving security situation and coordinate flight operations.
The resumption of Doha flights reflects growing stability in air travel routes affected by the Iran-US conflict. While inbound flights are carrying more passengers, outbound flights remain partially occupied, with airlines adjusting schedules according to security assessments.
PAA officials emphasized that air operations across all international airports in Pakistan are functioning normally. There are currently no emergency situations, and all necessary arrangements are in place to ensure smooth handling of arriving and departing flights from the Middle East.
Travelers are advised to stay updated with airlines for the latest schedules and security protocols for flights to and from Doha and other Middle Eastern cities.
