Karachi Traffic Police have announced a detailed Route Plan to manage traffic flow and parking arrangements during a major public event. The plan aims to reduce congestion and ensure smooth movement for commuters and spectators.
According to officials, Sir Shah Suleman Road will remain open from both sides. This decision is part of the overall Route Plan designed for public convenience.
Authorities have issued separate instructions for spectators coming from different areas. Clear directions have been shared to guide vehicles toward designated parking spots.
From Karsaz Road, spectators are advised to use Habib Ibrahim Rahimtoola Road. After reaching the stadium flyover side road, they can follow the Route Plan to park at the National Coaching Centre (NCC) or China Ground.
Fans coming from Millennium Mall must follow Pir Sibghatullah Shah Rashidi Road. The Route Plan directs them to use the stadium flyover side road to reach the same parking locations.
Similarly, residents from New Town will also follow Pir Sibghatullah Shah Rashidi Road. They will then proceed through the flyover side route as part of the official Route Plan.
Traffic police have also imposed restrictions on heavy vehicles. Several key roads will remain closed for heavy traffic to prevent congestion.
These restricted routes include Sohrab Goth to NIPA, Liaquatabad No. 10 to Hassan Square, and PPP Chowrangi to University Road. Other blocked areas include Karsaz to National Stadium and Millennium Mall to New Town.
The Route Plan also covers Stadium Signal to Hassan Square, ensuring smoother traffic flow in surrounding areas.
Citizens are strongly advised to follow official instructions. Police have urged people not to park vehicles on main or service roads.
Instead, all vehicles must be parked only in designated areas listed in the Route Plan. This will help maintain order and reduce traffic delays.
