The playoff lineup for the Pakistan Super League Season 11 has been officially confirmed following Islamabad Unitedโs thrilling four-wicket victory over Multan Sultans in the final league-stage match at National Stadium.
All four teams, Peshawar Zalmi, Islamabad United, Multan Sultans, and Hyderabad Kingsmen, had already secured qualification earlier. However, the final match played a key role in deciding the top-two positions on the points table.
In the crucial encounter, Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan won the toss and opted to field first. Multan Sultans responded with a strong total of 192 for 7, putting pressure on the opposition.
Chasing 193, Islamabad United successfully reached the target with six wickets down and eight balls remaining. The important victory helped them secure second place, setting up a high-voltage Qualifier clash.
As per the schedule, Islamabad United will now face table-toppers Peshawar Zalmi in the Qualifier on April 29 at National Bank Stadium. The winner of this match will directly advance to the final of PSL 11.
Meanwhile, Multan Sultans dropped to third place and will take on Hyderabad Kingsmen in Eliminator 1 at Gaddafi Stadium on April 30. The knockout stages are expected to deliver intense competition.
The losing side of the Qualifier will get another chance in Eliminator 2 against the winner of Eliminator 1 on May 1 in Lahore. The grand final of PSL 11 is scheduled for May 3 at Gaddafi Stadium.
