Court Grants Interim Bail to Nawaz and Shahbaz in Online Fraud Case

A District and Sessions Court in Islamabad has granted interim Bail to two individuals in an online fraud case. The accused, Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif, are residents of Bahawalnagar district. They approached the court seeking legal relief after a case was registered against them.

The case was filed by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). It involves allegations related to online fraud activities. The details of the case are expected to be reviewed further in upcoming hearings.

The matter was heard by Judge Muhammad Afzal Majoka. After reviewing the initial request, the court approved interim Bail for both accused. The relief has been granted until May 5, giving them temporary protection from arrest.

According to court proceedings, the Bail was approved against surety bonds of Rs20,000 each. This condition allows the accused to remain out of custody during the investigation phase. However, they are required to cooperate with the legal process.

The court has also directed the NCCIA to present the complete record of the case. This will help in examining the allegations in detail during the next hearing. Both parties have been instructed to present their arguments at that stage.

The accused individuals are brothers and belong to Bahawalnagar. Their legal representatives argued for interim relief, stating the need for fair proceedings. The court accepted the request for now, while keeping further decisions pending.

Legal experts say that interim Bail is usually granted to ensure due process. It allows the accused to defend themselves while the investigation continues. The final outcome will depend on the evidence and arguments presented in court.
