The KP Health Department has announced more than 830 vaccinator vacancies across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The move aims to improve immunization services in the province.
Officials said the recruitment drive is part of efforts to strengthen public health delivery. The new hiring will support vaccination programs in both urban and rural districts.
The KP Health initiative is being carried out under the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI). According to the Director of Health Services, the recruitment process has officially started.
The appointments will be made on a temporary contract basis. These positions are for the financial year 2025โ26. Authorities said the process will follow civil service appointment rules.
The KP Health department has also allocated a budget of Rs253.16 million for the hiring drive. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of Rs40,000.

The KP Health Department said the goal is to improve vaccination coverage across the province. The new staff will help expand routine immunization services in remote and high-risk areas.
This development comes at a critical time when Pakistan is working to control polio cases. Health authorities are focusing on increasing vaccine coverage in vulnerable regions.
Recently, new polio cases were reported from Bannu and North Waziristan. This raised concerns among health officials and highlighted gaps in vaccination access.
Sources from the National Institute of Health confirmed that one case was detected in Jani Khel, Bannu. Another case was reported from Gariom in North Waziristan.
The KP Health authorities said vaccination campaigns face challenges in some areas. Security issues have restricted access to several union councils.
