Pakistan Successfully Tests Fatah-4 Missile in Major Training Launch

The Pakistan Army successfully carried out a training launch of the indigenously developed Fatah-4 ground-launched cruise missile on Thursday. The test was conducted by the Rocket Force Command, according to a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations.

The successful missile launch marked another important step in strengthening Pakistanโ€™s defense capabilities. Officials said the exercise was designed to test the operational preparedness of troops and evaluate the technical performance of the system.

According to ISPR, the Fatah-4 missile is equipped with advanced avionics and modern navigation technology. These features allow it to accurately engage long-range targets with high precision.

The military said the training exercise also aimed to validate different technical sub-systems. These systems have been developed to improve the missileโ€™s accuracy and overall survivability during operations.

Senior officials from the Pakistan Army Rocket Force Command witnessed the launch. Scientists and engineers from the development agency were also present during the exercise.

The successful test received appreciation from the countryโ€™s top leadership. Congratulations were extended by Prime Minister PM Shehbaz Sharif, the President, and senior military officials.

These included the Chief of Army Staff, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, Chief of Naval Staff, and Chief of Air Staff. They praised the teams involved for their dedication and technical expertise.

Officials also appreciated the continued development of the F-series missile system. They described it as an important part of Pakistanโ€™s indigenous defense progress.

The launch comes amid broader discussions on regional security and defense readiness. Pakistan has continued to emphasize self-reliance in defense technology.

Separately, Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, recently addressed a press conference marking one year of Marka-e-Haq.

Speaking alongside senior naval and air force officials, he discussed the strategic outcomes of the operation. He stated that allegations portraying Pakistan as a source of terrorism had been rejected internationally.

He said the global community now better understands Pakistanโ€™s position. He added that Pakistan has consistently maintained it is a victim of externally sponsored terrorism.
