Pakistanโs automotive industry is preparing for a busy second half of 2026, with around 23 new vehicle launches expected between June and December. The latest tracker released by Arif Habib Limited (AHL) shows that a wide range of New Cars will enter the market during this period.
The upcoming launches reflect the growing demand for electric and hybrid vehicles in Pakistan. Out of the 23 planned launches, nine are fully electric vehicles (EVs), 11 are plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), and three are traditional petrol-powered models.
Industry observers believe these New Cars will give consumers more choices and support the shift toward cleaner transportation.
June to Begin with Seven Launches
June is expected to be the busiest month, with seven vehicles scheduled for launch. Changan is planning to introduce the UNI-S petrol model. GWM is expected to launch the Cannon Alpha PHEV.
MG is preparing to bring two electric vehicles, the IM5 and IM6, to the market. Jetour is expected to introduce the T1 and T2 petrol models. Omoda is also planning to launch the C7 PHEV.
Four Models Expected in July
July will see four vehicle launches. Jaecoo is expected to introduce the J8 PHEV. Nevo plans to launch the Q05 range-extended electric vehicle (REEV).
Deepal is preparing the launch of the G318 REEV. Nevo is also expected to introduce the A06 EV during the same month.
More Electric Vehicles in August and September
August is expected to bring three additional vehicles. Ora plans to launch the O5 EV, while Deepal is preparing the Hunter K50 REEV. Avatr is also expected to introduce the 11 EV.
In September, Chery is expected to launch the QQ3 EV. Deepal is planning to introduce the S09 REEV.
Changan and Others to Close the Year
October currently has one planned launch. Changan is expected to introduce the Lumin EV.
December is expected to end the year with six launches. Denza plans to bring the B5 and B8 PHEVs. BYD is preparing to introduce the Sealion 6 PHEV.
Nevo is expected to launch the Q07 PHEV. Avatr plans to introduce the 07 EV, while Aion is expected to launch the ES EV.
