KARACHI โ The Sindh govt has officially announced key deadlines for the release of exam results across the province. The schedule has been set for Matric and Intermediate examinations.
According to the Education Department, the Sindh govt has fixed July 10 as the final date for Matric results. Meanwhile, Intermediate results must be announced by July 31.
The decision was taken in a high-level meeting of education boards. The meeting was chaired by Sindh Minister for Universities and Boards, Ismail Rahoo, on Thursday in Karachi.
Officials from all educational boards participated in the session. They briefed the meeting on the ongoing examination process across different divisions. The Sindh govt reviewed the overall progress of annual exams during the discussion.
During the meeting, Minister Ismail Rahoo directed all boards to strictly follow the announced timeline. He emphasized that Matric results must be completed by July 10 without delay. He also confirmed that Intermediate results should be finalized by July 31.
The Sindh govt also instructed boards to ensure transparency and fairness in the examination system. Authorities highlighted the importance of merit-based evaluation for all students.
Officials further informed the meeting that Class 9 and Class 11 results will be announced by August 31. This step is aimed at completing the academic cycle on time.
The minister stated that timely results are important for studentsโ academic planning. He added that delays can affect admission schedules in colleges and universities. The Sindh govt has assured full support to improve the examination process.
The meeting also discussed legal actions taken during exams. Authorities confirmed that several cases were registered in Karachi. These cases involve violations of Section 144 during the examination period.
The annual exam cycle began in April and is expected to finish by mid-June. However, concerns remain over exam irregularities. Reports of paper leaks, bribery, and administrative issues have raised questions.
