Sheesha Café in Islamabad Sealed After Viral Dance Video Sparks Debate

Sheesha Café in Islamabad Sealed After Viral Dance Video Sparks Debate

A Sheesha Café in Islamabad’s upscale F-6 sector has come under official scrutiny after a viral video circulated widely on social media. The clip allegedly showed a dance gathering inside the venue.

The video from the Sheesha Café quickly spread online and triggered mixed reactions. Some users strongly criticized the event and questioned whether such activities should be allowed in the federal capital.

They called for strict regulatory action and better monitoring of entertainment venues. Others defended the gathering, saying it did not appear to involve illegal activity.

Authorities later took notice of the viral content. The Islamabad Deputy Commissioner ordered action after reviewing initial reports.

According to official sources, the Sheesha Café located in F-6 was sealed following the incident. An FIR was also registered against the café owner and the event organizers.

The owner was identified as Shujaat Afzal, while the organizer was named as Faisal Muttalib. Investigations are currently underway into the matter.

Officials are also reviewing whether the Sheesha Café complied with licensing rules and permitted entertainment guidelines. The focus remains on determining if any regulations were violated.

The incident has sparked a wider debate in Islamabad about private gatherings and entertainment boundaries. Many argue that clearer rules are needed for venues operating in urban areas.

Journalist Ansar Abbasi called for stricter enforcement in public spaces. He urged authorities to take action against activities deemed inappropriate for family environments.

On the other hand, former Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry offered a different view. He stated that the video did not show any illegal substance use.

He argued that such gatherings should not be over-politicized. According to him, unnecessary backlash could negatively affect Pakistan’s investment and hospitality environment.

As discussions continue, the sealed Sheesha Café remains under investigation. Authorities are expected to release further findings once the inquiry is completed.

The case has once again highlighted the ongoing tension between social media perception, public morality debates, and regulatory enforcement in urban entertainment spaces.
