The government of Pakistan has officially started the registration process for Hajj 2027. Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, announced the details during a formal ceremony.
He said that registration for Hajj 2027 will be completely free. No fee will be charged at the registration stage. The minister explained that the process will follow a first-come, first-served system.
According to the new policy, registration is now mandatory for all applicants. This rule applies to both government and private Hajj schemes. Sardar Muhammad Yousaf said no application for Hajj 2027 will be accepted without prior registration.
He also shared important passport requirements for intending pilgrims. Applicants must have a valid passport with an expiry date after November 26, 2027. This condition is necessary for successful registration.
The minister said family members can register together under one application. This step is meant to make the process easier for households planning to perform Hajj together. Overseas Pakistanis have also been allowed to take part in the registration process.
To make registration simple, the government has introduced multiple options. People can complete their Hajj 2027 registration through designated banks across Pakistan. An online registration facility has also been launched for added convenience.
Sardar Muhammad Yousaf explained that applicants will only choose between the government or private Hajj scheme after completing registration. This step aims to improve planning and management for next year’s pilgrimage.
The minister urged all interested pilgrims to complete their registration on time. He said early registration will help the government manage arrangements more effectively.
The federal cabinet has already approved the Hajj Policy 2027. Officials believe the new system will make the process more transparent and organized for pilgrims.
