Punjab Announce Biggest Tractor Scheme for Farmers in Province History

The Punjab government has introduced a major new step to support farmers. Punjab Announce a plan to distribute 50,000 tractors across the province over the next three years. This is being called the biggest tractor distribution program in Punjab’s history.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz shared this announcement during a meeting of the Punjab Agriculture Department. The meeting reviewed the progress of the Kissan Card program and other farming support projects.

The meeting also highlighted the performance of the Kissan Card program. Officials said the Punjab government has already provided Rs. 360 billion in interest-free loans through this scheme. Farmers have shown strong repayment records, with 99 percent of the loans returned so far.
