Karachi Murder Case: Suspect Makes Shocking Claims in 6-Year-Old Wali’s Death

The murder case of six-year-old Muhammad Wali in Karachi has taken a new turn after the arrested suspect reportedly made disturbing claims during police questioning. Investigators are continuing their probe to determine the exact sequence of events leading to the child’s death.

According to police, Wali was abducted from outside his home on Monday evening. His body was later recovered from a sack in Karachi’s Lea Market area. The incident shocked residents and sparked demands for swift justice.

The suspect, identified as Hamza, was arrested shortly after the incident. At the time of his arrest, he reportedly claimed that the crime was linked to a personal grudge. However, the child’s parents denied having any dispute with anyone and called for strict punishment for the accused.

During interrogation, the suspect told investigators that Wali was familiar with him. He claimed that he forcefully placed his hand on the child’s neck, causing him to lose consciousness.

According to the suspect’s statement, he left the child unconscious inside the house and went outside for some time. When he returned, he found the boy still unconscious.

The suspect further claimed that he took a bath, changed his clothes, and left the house again. He told police that only his elderly grandmother was present at home, while his aunt had gone to the hospital with her sick daughter.

The murder case became more disturbing after the suspect allegedly admitted placing the child’s body inside a shopping bag, wrapping it in a blanket, and hiding it in a cupboard. He later claimed that he became frightened as police intensified their search operation.

According to his statement, he eventually threw the body from the rooftop. The victim’s family has alleged that the sack containing the child’s body was thrown from a three-story building before it was recovered in the Lea Market area.

Police officials said the investigation remains ongoing and that all aspects of the murder case are being examined. Investigators are also verifying the suspect’s statements through forensic evidence and other available material.

Police sources described the suspect as highly deceptive during questioning. They claimed he repeatedly changed his version of events, making the investigation more complex.

The suspect is expected to be produced before a court to seek further physical remand. Authorities say additional questioning will help gather more evidence and establish the complete facts of the case.
