The Punjab School Education Department has invited applications for a one-year Volunteer Program under the Psychological Well-being and Development Program (PWDP). The initiative aims to improve student mental well-being while giving volunteers valuable professional experience.
According to the department, the Volunteer Program is open to skilled and motivated individuals from different educational and professional backgrounds. Selected participants will work alongside the PWDP team on projects that support students across Punjab.
Officials clarified that the initiative is not a permanent government job. Instead, it is a volunteer-based opportunity designed for people who want to contribute to public-sector education and mental health programs.
The department has announced openings in several professional fields. Volunteers will be selected for roles based on their qualifications, skills, and interests.
Available positions include Program Management, Media and Communication, Human Resources, Technology, Finance, Web Development, Videography and Photography, Social Media Management, Graphic Design, and Content Marketing.
The department said the Volunteer Program will provide practical exposure through real-world projects. Participants will receive professional training while working with experienced teams.
Selected volunteers will have the opportunity to collaborate with government officials and experts involved in student well-being initiatives. This experience is expected to strengthen both technical and professional skills.
The program also focuses on developing leadership abilities. Volunteers will gain experience in teamwork, communication, project management, and problem-solving throughout the one-year assignment.
At the end of the program, successful participants will receive an official experience certificate. The certificate will recognize their contribution to the initiative and their practical work experience.
The opportunity is suitable for university students, fresh graduates, freelancers, and working professionals. It is also open to content creators, designers, photographers, web developers, social media managers, and other skilled individuals.
Applicants are encouraged to choose the position that best matches their expertise. The department said candidates interested in youth development, education, mental health awareness, and student support are especially encouraged to apply.
Officials believe the initiative will help improve student well-being while allowing volunteers to enhance their professional portfolios. The program also provides a chance to contribute to meaningful education-sector projects.
Interested candidates can submit their applications online through the Google Form provided in the official announcement. Applicants should carefully complete the form and provide accurate information about their education, experience, skills, and preferred role.
