Some sensors may not reach Galaxy S phones but target other brands and industries. The 50MP GN6, competing with Sony’s IMX989, may be cost-prohibitive for Samsung’s devices, favoring external adoption.

The 440MP HU1 may serve sectors like automotive or industry rather than smartphones. The 320MP camera could find its way to the Galaxy S series, possibly in the Galaxy S26 Ultra by 2026.
